The Geisler Girls, Carrie and Jessica, were able to secure an Action Team Grant from Thrivent Financial to enable them to purchase 164 boxes of sugar coated cereal for Carroll County Food Sunday.  Tony Baer and his staff helped them to select, load and process the cereal.  All Carroll County Weis Supermarkets are Carroll County Food Sunday partners and provide bread and pastry products to Carroll County Food Sunday.  The Geisler Girls will be presenting Musical Entertainment on Saturday, May 30th from 6 to 8 pm entitled “HOPE FOR THE HUNGRY”  to raise funds and solicit sugar coated cereal for Carroll County Food Sunday.  The event is being held at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Fellowship Hall, 17 Bond Street, Downtown, Westminster.  Soup, sandwiches and light refreshments will be available for purchase during the event.   100% of any cereal or money donated will go directly to Carroll County Food Sunday.
