Snow Closing Policy

If Carroll County Public Schools are closed, CCFS is closed. If school opening is delayed, CCFS is open with our normal hours. Tune to WTTR AM 1470 for school announcements.

Food For Thought

In 2021, CCFS purchased 38 tons of food for our community. That\’s 76,472 pounds to be exact, y\’all. We bought food from Sauder\’s Eggs, Miller\’s Grocery and the Maryland Food Bank, among others: – Veggie Voucher Program: $79,992 – Milk: $43,573 – Eggs: $10,854 – Other: $29,087 These purchases include a grant from the Maryland …

Our volunteers ROCK! In 2021 alone, our community donated 6,970 hours at our 3 sites. CCFS only employs two part time employees, so your gift of time and talent truly makes a difference.
